New York: So, Jalen Mills had a tough break—literally. He made a great play last Sunday, snagging an interception against the Jaguars. But right after that, he got hurt and needed medical help.
Coach Jeff Ulbrich confirmed on Wednesday that Mills is done for the season with a broken collarbone. It’s a bummer because he was really coming into his own after joining the Jets’ practice squad back in September.
In just a short time, he started eight out of nine games, racking up 44 tackles and even forcing a fumble. The Jets are definitely going to miss him on the field.
Looking ahead, the team will need to sort out their coaching and management situation before deciding what to do with Mills for next season. Fingers crossed for a speedy recovery!
