San Francisco: So, Jerry Rice had some words for Deebo Samuel. He basically said, if you’re gonna complain about not getting the ball, you better catch it when it comes your way.
On a radio show, Rice pointed out that Samuel was frustrated about his touches but then dropped a key pass during a tough loss to the Rams. That’s gotta sting, right?
Rice mentioned that he would’ve been really upset with himself in that situation. He emphasized the importance of putting in the work during practice. If you practice well, the game will follow.
He said, after complaining about touches, dropping the ball is just not a good look. Everyone will start to doubt you, and that’s the last thing you want.
Samuel hasn’t been making much of an impact lately, with only 14 catches for 101 yards in the last five games. Rice thinks the best move for him is to stop complaining and just focus on improving his game.
