Philadelphia: So, Jalen Hurts is in a bit of a pickle right now. He took a hit to the head during a run in the first quarter and had to be evaluated for a concussion. It was a tough moment for him.
He really wanted to stay in the game and even tried to convince the refs to let him play. But the officials weren’t having it and sent him off for a check-up. You could see he was frustrated.
After a quick look in the medical tent, he came out ready to warm up again. But then, surprise! They called him back in for more checks. It’s a bummer when you just want to play.
Meanwhile, backup Kenny Pickett stepped in and did a solid job, throwing a touchdown pass to A.J. Brown. The Eagles took a nice lead over the Commanders, which is always good to see.
Just to keep things interesting, Tanner McKee is the emergency QB for the game. If Pickett gets hurt, McKee can jump in, even though he’s not active right now.
Before he left, Hurts had a rough start, completing just one pass for 11 yards but managed to rush for 41 yards on three carries. Let’s hope he’s okay and can get back on the field soon!
