London: So, you know that show Take Me Out? Well, former contestant Ciara De Carteret just spilled some tea about what really goes on behind the scenes. She was on the show back in 2017 when she was just 18, and she shared her experience on TikTok.
Ciara was totally shocked by how many outfits she had to bring. I mean, she was a broke student at the time! She said her friend had to help her pack because she just couldn’t afford to buy all those clothes.
When she got to the studio, it was a bit wild. They had to try on every single outfit in front of the crew. Can you imagine? A bunch of girls undressing and trying on clothes while everyone watches. She said it was super intense, especially for someone so young.
And then there was the host, Paddy McGuinness. Ciara mentioned that they were warned not to flirt with him since he was married. But she thought it was cool to see how everything worked behind the scenes.
When they went to the Isle of Fernando for their dates, things got even stricter. They had their phones taken away and were chaperoned the whole time. She felt pretty stressed not being able to contact her mum.
Ciara also talked about how hungry they were. They barely got any food, just a cereal bar after a long day. And when they finally went out, she was tipsy on an empty stomach, which led to some drama between couples. Classic reality TV stuff!
Looking back, she felt a bit uncomfortable during the reunion episode. She didn’t want to answer any awkward questions about her date not working out. But she doesn’t regret the experience; it opened up a lot of doors for her.
