Manchester: So, on Monday’s Good Morning Britain, Susanna Reid and Ed Balls were chatting about the day’s big stories when they had to break some news. They were all set to talk about Jeff Bezos’ rocket launch, which everyone was buzzing about.

But then, Susanna had to pause and let everyone know that the launch was delayed again. She mentioned that this was the third delay, which was a bit of a bummer for all the space fans out there.

She said, “This is the founder of Amazon, Jeff Bezos, it’s a Blue Origin rocket. It’s due to be launched, it’s already been delayed twice, it’s now been delayed for a third time this morning.” You could feel the disappointment through the screen.

As they continued, Susanna explained that this was part of a new phase in the commercial space market, and they were hoping it would give Elon Musk’s SpaceX a run for its money.

Then, just when it seemed like things might get back on track, Susanna had to announce another delay. She was like, “Oh, it’s been delayed again!” It was a bit of a rollercoaster for viewers.

Later on, they flashed a breaking news banner that read, “Breaking news: Jeff Bezos rocket launch delayed.” And just when you thought it couldn’t get worse, they revealed that the launch had been called off altogether.

This news came right after Susanna had taken a break from the show. She had been away for a holiday and even shared a lovely post on Instagram to let everyone know she was back.

During her time off, she even got a new hairstyle, which she was super excited about. She posted a selfie and said, “NEW YEAR NEW HAIR!” It seems like she was ready to kick off the new year with a fresh look.

While she was away, Kate Garraway stepped in to co-host with Richard Madeley, but fans were definitely happy to see Susanna back on their screens.

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV and ITV X, so there’s always something to catch up on!
