The band volunteers were stumped on how to help. They thought about fixing it but quickly realized they were out of their depth. Then, someone had a lightbulb moment. Why not call The Music Shop in Inverness?
So, one of the volunteers made the call. To their surprise, the shop had a pink secondhand flute available for borrowing. The shop staff, especially Donna, were incredibly helpful and agreed to lend it out.
But there was a catch—the shop closed at 4 PM, and time was running out! Luckily, a local named Alison was in the area and rushed to pick up the flute just in time.
Thanks to the shop’s generosity, Anna was able to play beautifully at the concert. Everyone was thrilled, and the kindness shown by The Music Shop really lifted everyone’s spirits. It was a true reminder of how people can come together to help one another.
The pink flute is now back at the shop, safe and sound after its little adventure!
