Inverness: A gas leak has caused a section of a road to be shut down right away. The Highland Council made the call to close the area for everyone’s safety.

The closure affects Green Drive at its junction with Culduthel Road. It’s going to stay closed for the rest of January while they fix the issue.

Highland Council confirmed that part of Green Drive will be closed until January 31 at 12:30 PM. They stressed that this is all about keeping the public safe after the gas leak.

If you’re in the area, just be aware of the detours and plan accordingly. It’s always better to be safe than sorry!
