Inverness: So, there was this guy, Ryan Anderson, who got caught because his neighbors couldn’t stand the smell of cannabis wafting from his place. They called the cops, and that’s how it all went down.

The police showed up at his house on Esk Road on May 21, 2023, and he just let them in. I mean, talk about not thinking things through! They found a big jar of the stuff right on the table, and he even mentioned having more stashed away in a bag.

Turns out, he had a dozen packages of cannabis and a bunch of other drug-related items like scales and a grinder. In total, they seized over 466 grams of cannabis, worth between £3,250 and £7,275.

Ryan admitted to being involved in supplying the class B drug, and now he’s waiting for his sentence, which is set for February 25. The sheriff wasn’t too pleased, telling him it was pretty foolish to get mixed up in that kind of thing. I mean, when the smell is that strong, you’ve got to know people will notice! These kinds of actions can really land you in hot water.
