London: I recently had the chance to stay at The Cumberland Hotel, and let me tell you, it was like stepping into a rock star’s world. The vibe was so welcoming right from the start.
As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with a fun atmosphere. They even had a black cab turned photo booth in the lobby! It was a cool touch that set the tone for my stay.
Since I was on the VIP treatment, I got whisked away to a private backstage area. There, I found complimentary food and drinks waiting for me. Talk about a warm welcome!
When I checked in, they handed me a glass of prosecco. I felt like royalty! They explained everything about my stay and even took my bag up to my room. Super convenient!
After sipping my bubbly, I was shown to my room, and wow, it was stunning! I stayed in a Studio Suite, and it was the biggest hotel room I’ve ever seen.
The room had a massive bed, a cozy sofa, and even a bar area. The bathroom was all about glamour, with a big bath and a walk-in shower. Plus, there was a huge mirror that made everything feel even fancier.
But the best part? The walk-in wardrobe! It had space for my clothes and bags, plus a hairdryer and a beauty mirror. And guess what? There was even a Fender guitar in there! I can’t play, but it was such a cool surprise.
They also left a fruit platter, chocolates, and a bottle of bubbles on ice. I felt like a superstar! The room was decked out with a mini-bar, a coffee machine, and a record player with classic albums. It was perfect.
Now, let’s talk about food. I got to try the Sound Café, which is right by the lobby. The food was amazing! They had this stunning light display that caught everyone’s eye.
The menu was huge, and we shared a Chicken Platter that was so big we couldn’t finish it. The service was quick and friendly, and the atmosphere was just right.
Breakfast was a buffet with everything you could want—cooked items, pastries, and even an omelette station. I’m not usually a breakfast person, but I really enjoyed it.
Honestly, The Cumberland Hotel might just be my new favorite spot in London. It’s luxurious yet fun, perfect for music lovers and families alike. If you want to feel like a VIP, this is the place to be!
