Winsford: A woman named Margaret Hulse used to eat around 3,000 calories a day, but she’s turned her life around and lost almost three stone. Can you believe it?

She used to indulge in takeaways three times a week and snack on all those high-carb goodies. It got to the point where the 66-year-old felt really tired and just not herself.

Weighing in at 14 stone, Margaret decided it was time for a change. So, she joined a slimming group called Beeweighed in Greater Manchester and Cheshire back in October 2023.

And guess what? She managed to drop 2st 13lbs, going from a size 18 to a 14! That’s pretty impressive, right?

Margaret said she wanted to lose weight for her health and to boost her confidence. She realized her weight gain was due to her old habits of eating too many takeaways and carbs.

One day, she saw a photo of herself that she didn’t like at all. That moment hit her hard, and she decided to make a change. “I felt absolutely devastated,” she shared.

Now, she believes the key to her success is enjoying her favorite foods but in moderation. “I watch my daily calorie intake,” she explained.

Margaret loves being part of Beeweighed, praising the group leaders for their support. “They’re fab!” she said, feeling grateful for the non-judgmental atmosphere.

She’s feeling great but has set a new goal to lose another 10lbs by May 2025. How inspiring is that?
