Sutton: You know what’s exciting? A new restaurant opening up in town. So, when I heard The Bun Club was gone, I was pretty surprised.
But then I found out the same owners had launched a new spot right there. I just had to check it out.
The Dining Room at No.6 is a cozy addition to the local dining scene, taking over the old Bun Club space and making it feel special.
As soon as I stepped inside, escaping the cold, I was greeted by a warm, inviting atmosphere. It felt like a perfect blend of relaxed and classy.
Right away, I knew I was in for a treat. The drinks menu was creative, and I went for their special Espresso Martini. It was smooth and rich—just what I needed to kick off the night.
For my starter, I chose the Arancini Ragu. Wow! Those risotto balls filled with beef Bolognese and mozzarella were fried to perfection. The spicy tomato sauce was the cherry on top.
Each bite was a delight, making me even more excited for the main course.
The service was another highlight. The staff had perfect timing, never rushing or leaving me waiting. Each dish arrived just when I was ready.
For my main, I went with the 10oz Aged Ribeye. It was cooked just right, and the flavors were out of this world. I paired it with bearnaise and peppercorn sauces, which were a great match for the steak.
And let’s not forget the fries and fresh salad. I was thrilled to see they kept the homemade burger sauce from The Bun Club days—it made the fries even better!
Even though I was full, I couldn’t skip dessert. I ordered the raspberry panna cotta cheesecake, and it was the perfect finish. Creamy and light, it left me feeling satisfied but not stuffed.
As the night went on, the vibe got even better. A nearby table celebrated a birthday, and the whole restaurant joined in singing “Happy Birthday.” It was such a sweet moment that captured the restaurant’s warm atmosphere.
The Dining Room at No.6 isn’t just a place to eat; it’s an experience. With fantastic food, great service, and a lovely vibe, it’s a must-visit in Sutton.
I can’t wait to go back!
