Bristol: So, there was this really unsettling incident where an elderly man got burgled. It happened on January 9, and the police are now on the hunt for the guy who did it.

Apparently, this masked burglar broke into a home on Greenlands Way around 2 PM. He made off with some cash and just vanished.

The poor man, who’s in his 80s, got hurt during the whole ordeal. Now, the police are trying to track down the burglar and have even shared a description of him.

They say he’s a white guy, probably between 30 and 40, with dark hair. He was dressed in a black jacket, dark blue jeans, and light brown boots, plus he had a full face mask on.

Oh, and there’s a woman in her 30s who got arrested for allegedly being involved in this burglary. She’s out on bail for now.

Detective Sergeant Suzanne Ashley mentioned how alarming this is, especially since it happened to someone vulnerable. She reassured everyone that they’re taking this very seriously and have increased patrols in the area.

They’re also asking anyone with doorbell or CCTV footage from around Greenlands Way to come forward. If you’ve got any info, just call their 101 service.

And if you want to stay anonymous, you can reach out to Crimestoppers. They won’t ask for your details, and you won’t have to deal with the police directly.
