Hungerford: A businessman is banned from local bars while he awaits sentencing. Hugo Scott-Russell can’t enter The Three Swans or contact The Plume’s owners.
Scott-Russell, 37, appeared in court wearing a blue pullover and grey trousers. He faced charges for using threatening words and disorderly behavior in December 2023.
Initially, he denied the charges but later admitted to them. His lawyer mentioned that a pre-sentence report wasn’t ready yet.
Scott-Russell is also waiting for sentencing on more serious charges at the crown court. He admitted to driving dangerously on the M4, causing an accident that injured another person.
During the court session, a probation officer explained that they couldn’t locate Scott-Russell for a report because he was in rehab. The case will follow the crown court’s sentencing.
Magistrates decided to delay sentencing until next month. Scott-Russell remains out on bail with the same conditions.
In 2021, he was a partner in The Blanchard Collective, a group dealing in antiques, but resigned as a director in 2019.
