Huge Plymouth open day will showcase free courses for adults

Plymouth: A big open day is coming up, and it’s all about adult education. On Course South West is hosting this event to show off their courses, and guess what? Ninety of them are totally free!

This organization has had a fantastic year, helping over 5,000 adults and young people. They’ve been all about community outreach and making sure people get the qualifications they need.

They even hit a 100% pass rate in GCSEs for subjects like Maths, English, and Science. That’s pretty impressive, right?

A spokesperson mentioned how dedicated they are to tackling social inequality and giving opportunities to those who need it most. With a 92% achievement rate, they’re really making a difference.

The open day is set for January 18 at Hyde Park House in Mutley, running from 10:30 AM to 1 PM. They’ll have refreshments, too, so it’s a great chance to check out what’s on offer.

Mark Trewin, the Principal, expressed pride in their achievements and the positive impact they’ve had on the community. He’s excited to welcome new learners and continue providing accessible education.
