Worcester: So, you won’t believe what happened! Police found a massive cannabis farm in a house on Ombersley Road. They raided the place late at night and discovered over 1,000 plants. Crazy, right?
It all started when folks in the neighborhood got worried about the house being left open and insecure. When the officers checked it out, they found cannabis plants in all sorts of stages, plus some vacuum-packed stuff ready for sale.
The plants were spread across ten rooms, even in the cellar! No one was home at the time, but there were signs that people had been living there. They even found some mobile phones, which the police are now looking into.
According to the local Safer Neighbourhood Inspector, Tanya Beckett, this whole operation seems to be linked to an organized crime gang. She mentioned that they take community concerns seriously and act quickly when something seems off.
Beckett reassured everyone that illegal activities like this won’t be tolerated in West Mercia. They’re committed to working with the community to tackle these gangs and keep the area safe. It’s all about teamwork, right?
