London: The Young Reporter Short Course is a fantastic opportunity for students in years 10 to 13. It gives them a peek into the media world.
Over four months, students get to work with pros in the industry. They’ll sharpen their writing skills and see their articles published.
Plus, they can build a portfolio and find their creative voice while learning the ropes of news reporting.
This experience with one of the UK’s biggest newspaper distributors looks great on any CV or UCAS application.
Students can even get fast-tracked into a four-year degree apprenticeship accredited by the NCTJ, which is a big deal in the industry.
