How Cold It Will Be Where You Live as -5C Temperatures Hit Wales

Wales: So, it’s going to be a pretty cold day in Wales today. The Met Office has warned us to expect a frosty start, but hey, at least there’ll be some sunshine, right? Just don’t get too comfy because it’s going to get cloudy later on.
By the afternoon, the clouds will thicken up, especially in the south, and we might even see a bit of light rain or snow. It’s going to feel cold everywhere, so bundle up!
As the evening rolls in, it’ll be cloudy, but don’t worry, it should clear up overnight. Just be careful out there because it’s going to get really cold with some freezing fog and maybe a few wintry showers.
Looking at the forecast, it’s going to be especially chilly in the northern parts of Powys. At 10 am, places like Llanwddyn and Llanidloes could be around -1C. Brr!
As the day goes on, some areas will warm up a bit, hitting around 4C in Caernarfon and 3C in Cardiff. But don’t get too excited; by evening, temperatures will drop again, with Ruthin hitting around -1C.
By 7 pm, it could be around -2C in Ruthin and even colder in Bala. And by 9 pm, we might see temperatures plummeting to -3C in places like St Asaph. Down south, it’ll be a bit milder, but still chilly.
Later at night, it’s going to be especially cold in the inland areas of north-east Wales. Expect around -5C in Ruthin and -4C in Bala. Meanwhile, Cardiff will be a bit warmer at 2C. So, if you’re out and about, make sure to dress warmly!
