Horror Dog Attack Leaves Victim Seeing ‘Blood Everywhere’ in Devon
A woman recalls a terrifying dog attack by eight Labradors, leaving her injured and traumatized

Tiverton: A woman was left seriously injured after being attacked by a pack of eight Labradors. She described the horrifying moment, saying she saw “blood everywhere.”
This brutal incident happened at Coombeland Farm. The first attack occurred when the woman was delivering hay. As she was working, the dogs suddenly lunged at her, biting her legs and arms.
It was chaotic. Some of the dogs were literally hanging off her. Her partner rushed in to help, fearing for her life. A farmhand also stepped in to get her to safety.
After the attack, the woman was in shock. She recalled her trousers being down and blood all around her. The owner of the dogs, John Hardy, offered her £80 for new trousers, but she turned down his compensation offer.
Just a month later, another attack happened. A mother and her kids visited the farm to see a horse. Suddenly, the dogs attacked her daughter, pinning her down and biting her.
The little girl was terrified, asking her mom if she was going to die. She ended up with 36 wounds and needed a tetanus shot. Sadly, she now has PTSD and is scared of all dogs.
Hardy, who initially pleaded not guilty, later admitted to having dogs that were dangerously out of control. He’s now selling his business and estate, saying he’s shocked by what happened.
The judge sentenced him to 150 hours of community service and ordered him to pay £5,000 to the victims. Three of his dogs were put down, and the rest face the same fate if not kept under control.
