Horror alleged attack on cop at busy airport

Perth: So, there was this wild incident at Perth Airport where a woman got charged for allegedly stabbing a cop in the neck with a pen. Can you believe that? She was just getting off a flight from Sydney when things went south.

It all started when the crew had to call for help because she was acting all disruptive and ignoring their instructions. When the police met the plane, they tried to escort her off, but she wasn’t having it. She tried to bolt, and when they grabbed her, she pulled out that pen and went for an officer’s arm.

Things escalated quickly. When another officer stepped in, she hit him in the face and neck with the pen too. Talk about a crazy scene! They ended up charging her with a couple of counts of causing harm and not following safety rules.

If she’s found guilty, she could be looking at a hefty sentence—up to 13 years! An ambulance had to come for the injured officers, and one even spent the night in the hospital before being released.

The AFP is not playing around with this kind of behavior. They made it clear that they won’t tolerate any violence or disruption, especially when it comes to keeping passengers safe. Jetstar also chimed in, saying they expect everyone to follow the rules on board and in the terminal.

Looks like this woman will be facing the music in court soon. What a mess!
