Wigan: Last weekend, things got pretty wild at the bus station. Police bodycam footage shows a teenage boy running around with a taser, and it was quite the scene.
Officers spotted the 16-year-old acting suspiciously around 7 PM on Saturday. They heard screams coming from the area and quickly moved in to check it out.
When they found him, he had a 60000k volt taser in his hands. The police had to take him down and arrest him right there.

Thankfully, no one got hurt during this incident. The police said the boy has been bailed but is still under investigation for his reckless actions.
Inspector Jon Ezard from GMP’s Operation Venture team emphasized how serious it is to have a weapon like that in public. He mentioned that using a taser is not just dangerous but also incredibly foolish.
He praised the quick response of the officers, which helped prevent any harm and got the taser off the streets. The police are committed to keeping the community safe and will continue to patrol areas based on intelligence to prevent crime.
