Newcastle: Hooters is opening soon in the city centre. Signs are up, and they’re inviting job applications. This is exciting news for fans of the brand.
Years ago, Hooters tried to open in Tyneside but faced issues. Their first application was rejected due to safety and crime concerns. They even appealed, but it didn’t work out.
Last year, Hooters submitted a new application for a spot in Newcastle. They want to set up in the lower ground floor of the TJ Hughes store in Bigg Market. The signs say ‘opening soon’ and show they’re moving forward.
The building now has Hooters’ orange logo and says ‘Restaurant and Bar’. It’s near popular places like Filthy’s and Popworld, making it a great spot for visitors.
Hooters started in 1983 and has around 500 locations worldwide. In the UK, they only have two others, in Liverpool and Nottingham. They’re known for good food, cold beer, and lots of sports on big screens.
Their website mentions their unique hospitality and good food. They’re excited about their growth and promise to keep things fun and enjoyable.
