Belfast: So, there was this incident just before Christmas at a bar in the city center. The police are on it, investigating an alleged assault that happened on December 23.

They’re treating it seriously, calling it a “sectarian and homophobic” hate crime. A man in his 30s was reportedly attacked, both verbally and physically, around 10:30 PM.

He ended up in the hospital with some bruising and a cut on his head. The police are still looking into it and want anyone with info to reach out. If you know something, you can call them or even report it online. They’re really hoping to get to the bottom of this.
