Birmingham: You won’t believe what happened! Prince William dropped by a Wetherspoons in Birmingham and had a pint with Aston Villa fans. It was like he was one of them, just hanging out and having a good time.
He was there for a paramedics’ conference but took a break to join the fans at the London and North Western pub. They were all waiting for their train to Liverpool for a match against Everton. William even had a Bulmers cider and spent about half an hour chatting with them.
He had asked Villa to set up a meet-and-greet with some hardcore supporters, and it turned out to be a blast. The footage shows him relaxed, shaking hands, and snapping photos like he was just another fan.
One fan, Daniel Jones, 18, said William was super down to earth and really loved the team. He felt like if the Prince didn’t have other things to do, he would’ve been at the match with them.
Another fan, John McEvoy, 64, shared that William told him his first game was Villa against Bolton, and he’s been a fan ever since. He even mentioned he’d be watching the match on TV later that night.
William was in Birmingham for the College of Paramedics conference, where he praised the hard work of paramedics. It was a great day for the fans and a memorable moment for everyone involved!
