Helston: A man in his 60s was found dead in a parked vehicle at a business park. His name is Glen Manders, and he was 66 years old.
This sad discovery happened early on December 18 at Helston Business Park in Cornwall. Police were checking the area after someone raised concerns about a person’s welfare.
Sadly, Glen was pronounced dead at the scene. Two women, aged 50 and 80 from south Somerset, were arrested on suspicion of murder and other serious charges.
After their arrest, they were released on bail. The police mentioned that Glen and the women were known to each other, which adds a twist to the story.
On January 8, an inquest was opened into Glen’s death, confirming he passed away on December 18, 2024, in Helston.
Detective Inspector Neil Blanchard said they are treating the death as suspicious. He reassured the community that there’s no wider risk, as those involved were known to each other.
He also mentioned that people might see more police around the business park while they continue their investigation. It’s a tough situation, and the community is understandably concerned.
