Queensland: A wild video has surfaced showing big sharks swimming near the shore while dingoes roam the sand. It’s a real eye-opener about the risks of swimming at this popular island.

An Aussie woman shared her experience on social media after fishing on K’gari, formerly known as Fraser Island. She spotted nine dingoes and a bunch of sharks lurking in the water.

“This is why they say don’t swim at Fraser — f*****g sharks just cruising the beach,” she exclaimed in the footage. It’s a reminder that this beautiful spot has its dangers.

K’gari is famous for its dingoes, and officials always warn visitors to keep their distance. A spokesperson from the Queensland Department of Environment, Tourism, Science and Innovation echoed this advice, urging everyone to enjoy the wildlife from a safe distance.

The video shows massive sharks swimming close to the shore, and the woman filming couldn’t believe her eyes. “This is hectic,” she said, clearly shocked. “They are not dolphins, people!”

As the camera pans, you can see dingoes playing in the sand. One curious dingo even approached a shark, but quickly backed off when it realized how big the predator was.

People online were amazed by the footage. Comments ranged from admiration for the beauty of nature to reminders of the risks involved. “Wow, nature at its best,” one person said, while another noted they’d never swim there.

It’s a stunning reminder of Australia’s wild side, where nature can be both beautiful and dangerous.
