Heartbreaking last post of rock climber, 30, before falling off cliff to death

Carson: It’s such a sad story. Micah Manalese, just 30 years old, fell while climbing at Pine Creek Trail in Red Rocks Canyon, Nevada. She was with a friend when it happened.

Rescue teams rushed in, but sadly, they couldn’t save her. A group of climbers nearby witnessed the whole thing, which must have been terrifying for them.

Before her tragic fall, Micah shared a touching post on Facebook about her love for climbing. She had just reignited her passion for the sport after taking a break. It’s heartbreaking to think about how much she loved it.

Her boyfriend, Robert, expressed his grief on Instagram, calling her his best friend and partner. He shared how special she was and how much he cherished their time together.

Micah’s sister also shared her sorrow, saying how much she admired her sister’s talents and energy. It’s clear that Micah touched many lives and will be deeply missed.

She was from Carson, California, and had been living in Aliso Viejo. Micah worked at Wild Rivers and studied at California State University. It’s just so tragic that her life was cut short while doing something she loved.
