Harrow Man Sentenced for Kidnapping and Assaulting 11-Year-Old Girl
A Harrow man has been sentenced to life for kidnapping and sexually assaulting an 11-year-old girl on her way home from school

Harrow: A 39-year-old man named Adam Baillie has been sentenced to life in prison for a horrific crime. He kidnapped an 11-year-old girl while she was walking home from school and took her to his house, where he assaulted her.
Luckily, the girl managed to escape and got help from some neighbors. They called the police, and she was able to point out Baillie’s home, which led to his arrest.
On October 16, 2024, Baillie was found guilty of kidnapping and sexual assault at Harrow Crown Court. He also faced charges for actual bodily harm. The judge sentenced him to life, with a minimum of 10 years before he can even think about parole.
PC Georgia Devaney-Brighton, who worked on the case, praised the girl’s bravery. She said that the girl’s strength and cooperation were crucial in getting justice. The whole community was shaken by this crime, and it’s a relief to see the perpetrator held accountable.
