Greenhithe: So, there’s some exciting news coming from Hangloose Adventure at Bluewater. They’re looking to start serving hot food in their reception area. Sounds pretty cool, right?

Since June 2021, they’ve been running the longest and fastest zipline in England, and they’ve added a giant swing and other fun activities since then. Now, they want to make the experience even better by offering hot snacks.

Previously, they weren’t allowed to serve hot food, but they’ve applied to Dartford council to change that rule. The idea is to set up a kitchen under the dome where people check in.

According to their planning documents, the kitchen will serve hot food and drinks to everyone there. Right now, visitors can only grab cold snacks, which isn’t ideal when you’re waiting around for your next activity.

They mentioned that sometimes there’s a 30 to 40-minute wait between activities. It’s just not enough time to head to the mall for a hot snack and come back. Plus, parents often stick around for hours to watch their kids, so having food on-site would be a game changer.

The kitchen will be for staff only, and food will be served at a special area in Dome 2. It’s all about making the visit more enjoyable without the hassle of leaving the site.

As for when the council will make a decision, we’re not sure yet, but they’ve set a deadline for February 6. Fingers crossed for some tasty treats at Hangloose soon!
