Southern Ontario, Hamilton, Toronto, Kitchener, Niagara Region, GTA

Hamilton: Southern Ontario kicked off the week with some serious wind. Overnight, strong gusts rolled through, making Monday morning a bit of a challenge for commuters.

Hamilton really took the hit, with winds hitting 76 km/h. Toronto and Kitchener weren’t far behind, with gusts around 67 km/h. It was a wild morning!

The strongest winds were felt in the Niagara Region and the Greater Toronto Area before dawn. Even though the winds have calmed down a bit, they’re still hanging around this morning.

Southwestern Ontario, the GTA, and Niagara can expect gusts between 50-60 km/h. So, if you’re out and about, hold onto your hats!

Now, the winds are shifting east. Areas along the Lake Ontario shoreline, like Cobourg, Prince Edward County, and Kingston, are in for a gusty ride. They could see winds up to 80 km/h near the shore and around 70 km/h further inland.

Good news is, the winds should start to ease up later this evening. Just keep an eye on the weather updates!
