Glasgow: There’s a lot of worry right now for a guy named Ian McAlpine who’s been missing for five days. He was last spotted around Balornock Road in Springburn on January 9, around 9 PM.

Ian is 49 years old, about 5ft6, and has short grey or white hair. He was last seen wearing a black North Face puffer jacket, black tracksuit bottoms, and black trainers. Sounds like he was dressed for the chilly weather.

Police Scotland is really hoping someone can help them find him. They’ve been checking CCTV footage, especially around Glasgow City Centre, where Ian often hangs out, particularly near Central Station.

What’s concerning is that he might not have any money or a mobile phone with him. That’s a big red flag, especially since he hasn’t been seen for so long. If anyone has any info, they’re asking you to call the police at 101 and mention incident number 3355 from January 7.

It’s a tough situation, and the community is rallying together to help. If you’re in the area, keep an eye out. Every little bit of information can make a difference.
