Worcestershire: The Worcestershire Ambassadors have been doing amazing work since 2000, raising funds for local charities. They’re all about giving back to the community.

To mark their 25th anniversary, they’ve kicked off a cool initiative called 25 in 25. The goal? To raise £100,000 in 2025 for 25 charities right here in Worcestershire.

Jim McBride, the group’s chairman, shared that this initiative is all about providing crucial support to local charities. It’s a way to boost their resources and help them make a bigger impact.

He also mentioned how this effort shines a light on the fantastic work done by local organizations. It’s a celebration of generosity and community spirit.

Throughout the year, they’ll host various events to raise the funds, and everyone is welcome to join in, whether you’re a member or not.

If you’re a charity looking for support, you can apply online until July 31. They’ll let the successful applicants know by September 30, and the funds will be presented at a ceremony at Worcester Guildhall on November 18.

For more details and to apply, just check out the Worcestershire Ambassadors’ website. It’s a great opportunity to get involved!
