A fight involving a knife broke out near Erith Riverside Shopping Centre, prompting police intervention and an ongoing investigation

Erith: So, there was this wild brawl near the Erith Riverside Shopping Centre. It all kicked off on Monday around 4:30 PM. Police got called to Pier Road and Cross Street after folks reported the fight.
One eyewitness mentioned that someone in the group had a knife. Yikes! When the police showed up, the crowd started to break up, and thankfully, no one got hurt.
Now, the police are looking into what really went down. A spokesperson from the Metropolitan Police said they got the call about the fight and confirmed that a witness saw a knife involved.
