Ja Morant will miss upcoming games against the Warriors and Kings due to a shoulder injury, sidelining him for at least a week.

He’s got a Grade 1 sprain in his right shoulder from a game against the Pelicans. The Grizzlies are saying he’ll be out for at least a week while they keep an eye on his recovery.
The Grizzlies are on a five-game road trip, and they’re set to finish it at Golden 1 Center and Chase Center. But without Morant, they’ll have to step up their game.
Fans of the Warriors might not be too upset about this. Morant has had some intense matchups with them in the past, especially during the 2022 playoffs. He couldn’t finish that series due to a knee injury, and now this shoulder issue is keeping him off the court again.
It’s been a tough couple of years for him with these shoulder injuries. Last January, he had to sit out the rest of the season because of a similar issue.
Right now, the Grizzlies are doing great, sitting at the No. 2 spot in the Western Conference with a 22-1 record. But they’ll definitely miss Morant’s energy and skills while he’s out.
