He mentioned how overwhelming the love from fans, friends, and the Spurs organization has been. It’s clear he’s feeling the warmth from everyone around him.
Popovich joked about his rehab team, saying they’ve realized he’s not the easiest guy to coach. But hey, that’s just classic Pop, right?
While he’s eager to get back to coaching, there’s no set date for his return. In the meantime, Mitch Johnson has been stepping in, and the Spurs are holding their own with an 11-10 record.
