Green Light for New Apartment Plans at Vacant Kirkstall Shop
Leeds City Council has approved plans to convert a vacant shop into apartments, adding more residential options in the area.

Leeds: So, guess what? The folks at Leeds City Council just gave the thumbs up for a new apartment project at an old shop in Kirkstall. Pretty cool, right?
They’re planning to turn that empty store into four one-bedroom apartments and one three-bedroom place. That’s one more flat than what they approved last November, which was just three.
Initially, they weren’t sure if the lower ground floor was good for living space. But now, the Environment Agency has confirmed it’s all clear for residential use. So, that’s a win!
This is actually the fifth time they’ve tried to get plans approved for this site. Before the last approval, three other attempts to develop it were turned down. It’s nice to see progress finally happening!
