Toronto: So, it looks like Friday’s commute is going to be a bit of a mess. There’s a wintry system rolling in, and it’s bringing snow with it.

We’re talking about 2 to 5 centimeters of snow, maybe even more in some parts of the Greater Toronto Area, especially near the lake. So, if you’re heading out, be ready for some slick roads.

And right after the snow, we’re in for a serious temperature drop. We’re talking about the coldest air of the season hitting us. Bundle up!

This snow is coming from a system moving in from the Prairies, and it’s going to cover southern Ontario. So, expect a full-on snow day.

For those early Friday morning commuters, the snow is expected to start falling, and it could really pile up in certain areas, especially with the help of Lake Ontario.

Places like Burlington and the western GTA might see over 5 centimeters, so keep that in mind if you’re driving on major routes like the QEW or the DVP.

And just when you think it can’t get worse, the weekend is bringing even colder weather. Wind chills could drop into the negative teens, and it might feel even colder up north.

Next week, though, we might see a bit of a warm-up, which is a nice change. But for now, let’s just get through this snowy Friday!

Oh, and keep an eye on the weather for Christmas. There’s a chance we could see some wet snow or even rain, depending on how things play out.

So, stay safe out there and check back for updates on the weather!
