Valerie Patterson was found with serious stab wounds and taken to Princess Alexandria Hospital. Her grandson, Bailey, shared how surreal it feels to have this happen to their family.
He mentioned that his grandmother has faced tough times, having beaten breast cancer and undergone two hip replacements. Despite everything, she always tries to stay positive.
Police are investigating the incident, and a 28-year-old man who lives at the residence is helping with inquiries. Thankfully, authorities say there’s no ongoing threat to the public.
