Pembrokeshire: A man who has been dealing with mental health challenges is really thankful to a Good Samaritan he encountered at a supermarket.

This all happened at Morrisons in Haverfordwest. The guy was pretty upset after he took out £30 from the cashpoint but forgot to grab it before leaving.

Luckily, a kind stranger found the cash and handed it in to the store. Now, this man, who prefers to stay anonymous, wants to give back by donating to three local charities that have supported him through a tough year.

He plans to triple that £30 by donating £30 each to Autism Wellbeing CIC, Pembrokeshire Citizens’ Advice, and The VC Gallery. He shared this in a letter to the Western Telegraph.

He described how anxious he felt when he realized he left the money behind. On Christmas Eve, he had gone to the store early to avoid crowds due to his PTSD and autism.

He mentioned that Morrisons has quiet hours that really help people like him who struggle with sensory overload. He was just trying to grab some essentials and was feeling overwhelmed.

When he realized he forgot the cash, he had a meltdown and rushed back to the store. To his surprise, he found out that someone had already returned his money.

He expressed his gratitude, saying, “You have no idea how much your kindness meant to me this Christmas.” He also thanked the staff at Morrisons for being so understanding during his visit.
