Glasgow Actress Takes on Role in Play Inspired by Jane Austen Classic

Glasgow: Eleanor Kane is set to play Anne de Bourgh in a new play. The show is called Pride and Prejudice*(*Sort Of). It’s a fun twist on Jane Austen’s classic story.

The production is directed and written by Isobel McArthur. She studied at the University of Glasgow and the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. The play will run at the Theatre Royal from March 3 to 8.

This version features pop classics like Young Hearts Run Free and You’re So Vain. It promises a unique take on the beloved love story.

Other cast members include Christine Steel as Clara and Jane Bennet. Emma Rose Creaner will play Tillie and Charlotte Lucas. Rhianna McGreevy takes on Mrs. Bennet and Fitzwilliam Darcy.
