Cardiff: So, Glamorgan has let go of their head coach, Grant Bradburn. This comes after some serious misconduct charges were brought against him by the cricket regulator.
The club acted after getting some allegations about inappropriate behavior. They’re saying they followed a fair process in handling this situation.
Glamorgan is pretty clear about their stance, stating they have a zero-tolerance policy for any kind of discriminatory behavior. They did their own investigation and decided that Bradburn couldn’t stay on.
Mark Rhydderch-Roberts, the club chair, mentioned that they’re focusing on supporting those affected by this situation. They really want to make sure everyone involved feels respected and valued.
Bradburn had just joined Glamorgan in January 2024 on a three-year contract, taking over from the previous coaches. Before this, he was the head coach for Scotland and even worked with Pakistan’s team.
But things didn’t go well for him in Pakistan, especially after they missed out on the World Cup semi-finals. Now, it looks like his time with Glamorgan has come to an abrupt end.
