Oklahoma City: The Thunder pulled off an impressive win against the Knicks. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was on fire, scoring 33 points. It was a nail-biter, but they managed to rally in the fourth quarter.
Jalen Williams also stepped up, adding 20 points. But it was Aaron Wiggins who really turned things around, scoring 15 of his 19 points in the final stretch. They were down 88-80 at one point but came back strong.
Isaiah Hartenstein had a solid game too, grabbing 14 rebounds and dishing out seven assists. The Thunder are now 29-5, and their only loss in the NBA Cup doesn’t count in the standings.
For the Knicks, Mikal Bridges led with 24 points, but their nine-game winning streak came to an end. Karl-Anthony Towns had a double-double with 17 points and 22 rebounds, while Jalen Brunson added 22 points.
The game was pretty historic, being one of only four in NBA history where both teams were on winning streaks of nine games or more. New York was ahead at halftime, but the Thunder kept chipping away.
In the fourth quarter, Wiggins really took charge, hitting three 3-pointers and helping the Thunder go on a 25-10 run. It was a thrilling finish, and the crowd went wild!
