London: A house once owned by Ghislaine Maxwell, where a controversial photo of Prince Andrew was reportedly taken, is now on the market. The asking price? A cool £3.25 million.
This place is in the fancy Belgravia neighborhood. It’s quite a jump from the £1.75 million that property developer Stuart Robinson paid for it back in April 2021 when Maxwell sold it.
The infamous photo of Prince Andrew with Virginia Giuffre, who was just 17 at the time, is said to have been snapped there in March 2001. Giuffre claims she was forced into a sexual encounter with Andrew in a bath at the home, a claim he has always denied.
Maxwell even mentioned the bath during a 2016 defamation case, saying it was too small for anything to happen. But the allegations have stuck around, and the house has become a focal point in this ongoing saga.
Maxwell’s appeal to overturn her sex trafficking convictions was shot down last November. She was found guilty in December 2021 for luring young girls to Epstein, and she’s currently serving a 20-year sentence.
The house is being listed by Chestertons, and they describe it as a charming, newly refurbished three-bedroom home. It’s got a nice layout and a bright principal bedroom suite with a terrace. It’s also close to high-end shops like Harvey Nichols and Harrods.
Interestingly, it seems the place hasn’t been lived in since Maxwell sold it, and the bathroom looks just like it did back in 2022. The original features are still intact, which is kind of wild given the history.
