Pittsburgh: So, George Pickens just dropped a bomb about the Steelers’ offense. After the game, he was asked if he noticed any growth in the team. He said, “Yeah, I’ve seen signs of growth, for sure.” But when it came to feeling optimistic? He just shrugged it off with a “Uh, nah.”
That’s pretty surprising, right? You’d think he’d be a bit more hopeful. But nope, he didn’t even get asked why he feels that way or if he’s thinking about leaving. It’s like everyone was just stunned into silence.
This past season, Pickens had 59 catches for 900 yards and three touchdowns. That’s a drop from his previous year’s stats. He did have a decent playoff game against Baltimore, but it wasn’t enough to change his outlook.
He’s locked in with the Steelers until 2025, making $1.625 million. If he sticks around, he’ll probably want a new contract. But the big question is whether he wants that deal with Pittsburgh or somewhere else.
And considering how he crashed the post-game interviews of Mahomes and Kelce, maybe he’s got his eyes on a different team. Who knows?
