Galway, Ireland, Gardai, Public Disorder, Eyre Square
Galway: So, there was this wild scene in Eyre Square the other night. A man in his 40s got arrested after things got a bit out of hand. It all kicked off around 10 PM when folks noticed some disorder.
People were chatting about it on social media, saying they saw a random fight between two guys. Then, out of nowhere, the gardai showed up and took one of them down. It was quite the sight!
According to witnesses, the guy was really losing it, screaming as they tried to get him into the police van. One person even shared how they thought it was just two drunk guys being silly at first.
But then, the gardai swooped in, and it turned into a bit of a struggle. The guy was yelling about his face while trying to kick everything in sight. It must have been quite the scene for anyone passing by!
Later, a spokesperson for An Garda Siochana confirmed the arrest and mentioned that the man was released after some inquiries. Just another night in Galway, I guess!
