Galway: A serious incident unfolded in the city center over the weekend. A man in his 20s was injured and had to be rushed to the hospital.
Gardai were called to Cross Street early Sunday morning after reports of trouble. They found the injured man and quickly got him medical help.
Officers arrested a 20-year-old at the scene. He was charged and appeared in Galway District Court later that day.
A spokesperson for Gardai shared that they responded to the incident shortly after 3 AM. The injured man was taken to the hospital for treatment.
