Hexham: Mark Simmons is hitting the road again! He’ll perform at the Queen Hall Arts Centre on March 1, 2026. This is part of his new tour.
His last tour, Quip Off the Mark, was a big hit. It ran for three years and had over 215 shows in the UK, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand. He sold more than 25,000 tickets!
During that time, he won several awards. In 2024, he got the Joke of the Fringe Award. He also won the Victoria Wood Panel Prize and Comic’s Comic of the Year in 2022.
His new show, Jest to Impress, promises an hour of non-stop laughs. He’ll also visit places like the Hackney Empire and Brighton Corn Exchange on this tour.
Mark’s comedy special, a recorded version of Quip Off the Mark, is now available online. He has appeared on shows like ITV’s Out There and Mock The Week.
He also hosts a podcast called Jokes With Mark Simmons. In it, he and a guest comedian talk about jokes that didn’t go well and how to improve them. Guests have included Rob Beckett and Milton Jones.
