Councillor Angela White pointed out that the increase from 68 to 107 homes is going to put a strain on local services like the medical center, schools, and even traffic. Plus, there’s been flooding and sewer issues lately, which isn’t helping the situation.
Another councillor, John Barrett, mentioned that while the homes look great, the constant changes are confusing for everyone involved. The developer didn’t show up to the meeting, but they’ve claimed their design is top-notch. Still, the community is saying “enough is enough” when it comes to more houses without the necessary infrastructure.
