Fresh Hope in Search for MH370 as New Efforts Begin
The Malaysian government has launched a new search for MH370, aiming to uncover the mystery surrounding the missing flight.
MH370, Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur, Beijing, Ocean Infinity
Kuala Lumpur: So, guess what? The Malaysian government is kicking off a fresh search for the missing MH370 plane. It’s been a long time coming, right?
Transportation Minister Anthony Loke made the announcement on Friday. They’re teaming up with a US company called Ocean Infinity to get this search rolling.
During a press conference, Loke mentioned they’ve reached an “in principle” agreement with Ocean Infinity. They’re planning to search for wreckage over the next 18 months. Sounds promising!
Just a reminder, MH370 vanished back in 2014 while on its way from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing. It had 227 passengers and 12 crew members on board. Such a tragic mystery.
The focus will be on the southern Indian Ocean, where they believe the wreckage might be. Fingers crossed they find something this time!
