De’Aaron Fox silences critics with a stellar performance, leading the Kings to victory over the Mavericks in a crucial game.

Sacramento: There was a lot of buzz about De’Aaron Fox before the Kings faced the Mavericks. The talk wasn’t exactly flattering, either.
To clear the air, Fox took to X, formerly Twitter, to deny any rift with coach Mike Brown before his firing. He wanted to set the record straight.
Then, during the game, Fox really showed up. He scored a whopping 33 points, along with six rebounds and six assists, helping the Kings win 110-100.
This win was a big deal, especially since it ended a rough six-game losing streak. Plus, it marked Doug Christie’s first win as interim coach.
Fox has known Christie since he joined the Kings in 2017, so he knows what to expect from him. “With Doug, what you see is what you get,” he said, praising Christie’s hard-nosed approach.
Even though the Kings are still sitting at 12th in the Western Conference, this win feels like a fresh start. Fox can finally breathe a little easier after all the pressure.
He’s made his point, both on and off the court, and it looks like the Kings are ready to move forward.
