Florida Man Arrested for Tearing Down Pro-Trump Sign He Found Intimidating
A Florida man was arrested for removing a pro-Trump sign from his neighbor’s fence, claiming he felt intimidated by it.
Florida, Lee Jonathan Farber, Leon Pierce, Pro-Trump Sign, Arrest
Lee Jonathan Farber, 55, was caught on a complaint for tearing down the flag and another sign. He tossed them into a nearby lake while his wife watched. Talk about a scene!
The signs belonged to Leon Pierce, a registered Republican. They had some pretty bold slogans like “Eight days to go and f*** you Joe” and “Trump 2024 F*** Your Feelings.” Definitely not subtle!
Farber apparently didn’t like those signs at all. He even said he felt intimidated by them. It’s wild how political signs can stir up such strong feelings.
On the day of the incident, Pierce mentioned that Farber was acting “very radical.” It seems like this wasn’t the first time things got tense between them.
Farber ended up breaking Pierce’s fence while he was at it, causing about $130 in damages. His wife was there to witness the whole thing, too.
He got charged with misdemeanor criminal mischief and was booked into jail. But he was out the next day on his own recognizance. A judge even told him to steer clear of Pierce.
Pierce tried to get a protection order against Farber, but that request was turned down by a Circuit Court judge. Just another day in the neighborhood, right?
